Annantalo Art Saturday: Glowing Figures

At Annantalo Art Saturday, the whole family can spend time together with art in open workshops for everyone - you can drop by briefly or stay longer.

This time the theme is shadow theatre and silhouettes. From shadow images, figures are created in different shades of red for Annantalo's windows.

The workshop is part of the Spektri collaborative artwork: in autumn 2026, a shared light art piece is being created at Annantalo, with different parts built in several workshops. This workshop produces material for window artworks placed on the Annankatu side, glowing in different colours of the spectrum. The Spektri light artwork opens on 9.12. at 18:00, when Annantalo's windows light up in colour.

No previous experience is needed. For children, hearing protection and other sensory aids are available if needed, and a quiet room is also in use. Art Saturday is free, suitable for all languages, and led by Annantalo's art educators.
