British Festival Ballet: Swan Lake

British Festival Ballet brings Swan Lake to Finlandia Hall in October 2026 in two performances. The principal roles feature guest artists from Astana Opera - Yerkin Rakhmatullayev and Sofiya Adilkhanova - alongside a full corps de ballet under the artistic direction of Yassaui and Sophie Mergaliyev.

The production draws on the stage tradition of 1895. The choreography is based on the work of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, with music composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The dual role of Odette and Odile - the lyrical grace of the White Swan against the virtuosity of the Black Swan - is one of the most demanding roles in the classical ballet repertoire.

Finlandia Hall, 23.10. & 24.10.2026. Performances begin at 19:00 and conclude around 21:30, including two intermissions. Tickets 65-110 € from the box office.
