Annantalo Art Saturday: Violets for Viola - Workshop and Story Time

At Annantalo Art Saturdays, families can spend time together with art in open workshops where you can drop by for a short visit or stay longer.

The workshop introduces Karoliina Pertamo's book Violets for Viola, and participants create their own violets to attach to clothing or a bag. The workshop is led by illustrator Karoliina Pertamo. No prior experience is needed, and hearing protection and other sensory aids are available for children if needed. There is also a quiet room. The event is free and welcomes all languages.

Violets for Viola is part of the Children's Book Festival held at Annantalo from 7.10.2026 to 27.2.2027. The festival celebrates children's picture books and reading through exhibitions, author visits, workshops, and other events.
