X Roots in Palokka - artists in their home region, an invited exhibition for Palokka Culture Days. Artist: Petri Blomqvist. The exhibition is open during library hours Mon-Thu 12.00-19.00 and Fri 11.00-16.00, as well as during self-service hours Mon-Sun 08.00-21.00 with a library card. Organized by Palokka-Seura rf and Jyväskylä Adult Education Centre.

Opening of Palokka Culture Days and the "Roots in Palokka" exhibition. The programme includes the announcement of "Palokka Person of the Year" (Lions Club Palokka), the "Cornerstone of Culture" award (Palokka newspaper), and a presentation of artist Petri Blomqvist and the exhibition. Wed 11.11.2026 10.00-12.00 - Palokka Fitness Centre, Kauppakuja 3
Open doors at Palokka Fitness Centre. Fitness instructor Tiina Päivärinta and fitness centre owner Sami Jokinen welcome everyone to explore the facilities. The fitness centre has free entry during the event. The city's fitness instructor provides advice and tips for training, and information about the area's fitness services is available. Organized by Palokka Fitness Centre and Jyväskylä Fitness Services.
