I Look at the Blue Sky

I Look at the Blue Sky is a musical about the early career and rise of Katri Helena and Tapani Kansa to become Finnish schlager legends. The production follows how the stories of two stars intertwined - both had connections to Danny's D-production, and Hilkka Kinnunen cast them both as stars in My Fair Lady alongside Lasse Mårtensson. Around the 1971 Love Story tour, speculation swirled about a romance between them.

The musical captures the glamour, mishaps, and hardships of touring life in the 1960s and 1970s. The songs performed include I Look at the Blue Sky, R-A-K-A-S, Autumn Dream, Bridge Against the Sun, Let the Day Shine, Delilah, Paloma Blanca, Mother's Little Boy, Bird and Child, Summer's Child, and We Walk Together Always.
