Youth Film Club

Malmitalo's youth film club is aimed at 15-18-year-olds interested in cinema. The club meets four times during the autumn, led by Aatos Ketvel, a master's graduate in film studies.

At the meetings, young people watch films of their own choosing and discuss their themes, motifs, and narrative techniques. The goal is to learn together through relaxed and curious discussion - not lecture-style study. At the first meeting, members get to know each other and plan the autumn programme; at the three following meetings, one feature film is shown per session.
