Urban Environment Together - Organization Seminar on 7.10.

The Urban Environment Department invites active citizens to an organization seminar on 7.10. from 17.00 to 19.00. The event is organized in cooperation with Helka rf, the umbrella organization for neighborhood associations, and coffee and networking opportunities are available from 16.30 onwards.

The evening's theme is the city as a shared space. The program features talks on the update of Helsinki's interaction and participation model (participation manager Johanna Stadius, City of Helsinki), measures in the urban environment sector's participation plan (interaction specialist Anna Hurmeranta, City of Helsinki), promoting resident-driven use of spaces (special planner Arvind Ramachandran, City of Helsinki), and developing dialogue between planners and participants (Dr., architect Eveliina Harsia-Mikkola). After the talks, discussion continues in smaller thematic groups focusing on participation, early involvement, the importance of citizen knowledge, use of spaces, and examples from other cities.
