The Joy of Making - Handicraft Event

Kädentaitomartat ry organizes a free handicraft event open to everyone, where you can learn new techniques and try various crafts.

At the event you can try boro-mending, knit and crochet with guidance, darn and repair socks, and refresh fabric bags - you can bring your own items that need repair. The program also includes making card holders, tassels and fringes, at the children's table you can make dolls from socks and mittens, watch spinning on a spinning wheel, and learn about dyeing wool yarn using jar-dyeing methods.
