About the venue

The Finnish National Opera and Ballet is Finland's principal opera house, opened in its current building on the shores of Töölönlahti bay in 1993. Designed by architect Eero Hyvämäki, it ranks among the largest opera houses in the Nordic countries and runs two stages. The programme covers opera, ballet and concerts throughout the year.
