Lost Society is a Finnish heavy metal band from Jyväskylä, founded in 2010 by guitarist and vocalist Samy Elbanna. They broke through with their debut album Fast Loud Death (2013) on Nuclear Blast Records, drawing on classic 80s thrash, and have since evolved through metalcore and nu metal territory across six studio albums. Their third album Braindead (2016) debuted at number 3 on the Finnish album chart, and the band has toured alongside acts such as Slayer, Anthrax and Exodus.
Lost Society released their sixth studio album Hell Is a State of Mind on March 6, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
The band launched the 'Tour Is a State of Mind' European run in March 2026, covering Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Scandinavia.
The album's lead single 'Blood Diamond' was released in January 2026, produced and co-written by Joonas Parkkonen.
Lost Society celebrated surpassing 50 million streams on Spotify in November 2024.
