concert19:00Mamba - You Can Touch
The Mamba orchestra with Tero Vaara returns to Savoy Theatre with a new concert series. The programme explores tender words, warm feelings and longing through carefully selected works.
Mamba is a Finnish schlager and pop band founded in Pori in 1984, fronted throughout by singer-songwriter Tero Vaara - the only original member still in the lineup. With 19 studio albums and over 370,000 records sold, the band ranks among Finland's best-selling domestic acts, and their song 'Valokuvia' held the record as the most-played Finnish track on commercial radio for the decade 1995-2004.
Mamba launched a nationwide anniversary tour in October 2025 to celebrate Tero Vaara's 60th birthday, with concerts in Lahti, Turku, Tampere, Helsinki, Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna and Pori.
Tero Vaara turned 60 in January 2025, marking over 40 years as the frontman of Mamba.
Mamba is scheduled to perform at the Vauhti kiihtyy festival in Hyvinkää and the Aito Iskelmä festival in Pori in June 2026.
Mamba released the single 'Et ole yksin' on 3 April 2020, marking the band's return to recording after a long hiatus.
