Punk ja Yäk 2026
Punk ja Yäk is a two-day festival documenting the Finnish punk scene. The festival features many Finnish punk and rock bands in the courtyard of the House of Art in Turku on August 21-22.
Pelle Miljoona & Pispala Punks is a special-project band built around Pelle Miljoona (born Petri Tiili, 10 February 1955), widely regarded as the godfather of Finnish punk. The lineup - Pelle plus four Tampere-based musicians rooted in the city's Vastavirta club scene - focuses exclusively on material from the earliest phase of his career, the late-1970s and early-1980s records that defined suomipunk. The band performs rarely, making each show an event in its own right.
Rumba.fi reported that Pelle Miljoona has a new book and a new record coming in September 2025.
The live album 'Liwe!' (LP/CD/digital), recorded at Tampere's Vastavirta club in December 2024, was released on 17 April 2025.
Stupido Records noted that Pelle Miljoona's 70th-birthday year includes three new record releases and a new book.
The 70th-birthday tour concluded with a sold-out show at Tampere-talo's Pieni sali on 20 December 2025.
Pelle Miljoona & Pispala Punks have announced 2026 dates including G Livelab Tampere (1 May), Pyhtää (10 July) and Punk ja Yäk festival in Turku (21 August).
