Trivium is an American heavy metal band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1999. Blending thrash, heavy metal and metalcore, they have released ten studio albums and built a reputation as one of the most consistent live acts in modern metal - with six consecutive Top 25 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 and a Grammy nomination to their name. Their 2005 breakthrough Ascendancy was named Kerrang!'s Album of the Year and has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide, while 2021's In the Court of the Dragon drew coverage from outlets as varied as The New York Times and NPR.
