Come make art stuff at Annantalo on weekdays from 1.6 to 17.7.2026! Open and free art workshops run from 10:00 to 15:00.

Art stuff is organized during summer in Annantalo's courtyard. The activity suits children under 8 years old with an adult, and older children can also participate without an adult.

In art stuff you can drop by for a short time or stay longer. The activity combines different art forms and is led by Annantalo's art educators.

Art Stuff Themes

1.-5.6. from 10:00 to 15:00
Neigh!
Is it a horse, a mustang or a unicorn? What kind of horse would you like to be? Come make yourself a silly horse headdress and head off to the obstacle course or go play in the pasture.

In the workshop you can also draw horse pictures and meet other horse lovers. Other horse-themed activities in the workshop may vary daily. If you like, you can also bring your own stick horse.

8.-12.6. from 10:00 to 15:00
Nature's Wonders
Can you paint with seaweed and coffee? What colour comes from saffron? Where does blue pea flour come from?

In the workshop you get to paint with natural dyes every day with changing nature themes. We paint with plant colours and oil pastels on recycled paper. You can take your finished work with you. Come experience the wonderful scents and colours of plant dyes!

The Hare and the Magician's Hat
A hare and a magician's hat have appeared at Annantalo. What different hares emerge when you shape them from clay? And what else besides hares can appear from the magician's hat?

On the first two days (Mon-Tue) we focus on three-dimensional expression and the rest of the week (Wed-Thu) we explore charcoal drawing technique, where the image is created by removing and wiping away charcoal.
