Isoneva Summer Wednesdays for Families with Children

Isoneva playground is open for families with children throughout the summer with play, movement, and meals. The activities are free and no registration is required.

The shallow pool is filled again for the summer. According to preliminary information, the pool is cleaned and filled on Mondays and Wednesdays, and emptied on Tuesday and Friday afternoons until 7 August. The City Environment Department is responsible for the pool. Children under school age must have an adult with them in the pool - the pool can be surprisingly deep. Instructors are responsible for school-age children's time in the pool. Entry to the pool is only in swimwear, hygiene is maintained, and jumping into the pool is not allowed. The pool is not in use during meal times.

Free summer meals are served on weekdays at 12:00 for children under 16. Children must bring their own eating utensils: plate, cup, and spoon - dishes are washed at home. Water is the drink with meals. The food is mostly soup, so bringing your own sandwich is recommended. The summer 2026 menu can be found on the Service Centre Helsinki Playgrounds summer meals page.
