Meet Today - Cafe: Singing in Finnish and Arabic + Crafts

Welcome to the Meet Today cafe at 10:00 to play and meet families with children. On 18.6. the programme includes singing in Finnish and Arabic at 10:30 + crafts.

Relaxed time together, children and adults side by side. Activities, meetings and stories.

Meet Today cafe is a meeting place for cultures for all families with babies and young children.

In the guided sessions, children learn language in a fun and varied way through fairy tales, songs and nursery rhymes. Adults have the opportunity to practise their Finnish language skills. The activity is free of charge.

Activities in June:

Strömberg Playground is open in June 1.6.-26.6.2026 Mon-Fri 9-16. Toys are available 9-15.30. In July Strömberg Playground is closed.

In the mornings, sessions are arranged for families with small children at 10. School-age children have guided activities at 14, such as outdoor games, board games or crafts. Children who come to the playground can influence the content of the activities.

In June, summer meals are served at Strömberg Playground for all children under 16. Meals are served Mon-Fri at 12. Food is free. You need to bring your own plate, cutlery and drinking bottle. Summer menus can be found here: Aromi.

Weekly summer programmes can be found on Strömberg Playground's Facebook or Instagram pages, on the playground's notice board, in the Playgrounds app or in the Helsinki events calendar.

Strömberg Playground also has indoor spaces where you can, for example, heat food and make coffee.
