Don't Scratch an Angry Woman - I Have Filled My Body with Fire is an intense, documentary theatre work about misogyny, exhaustion, freedom and power. Four women take the stage: three actresses and a cellist who together embody a collective feminine force, hatred and the incarnation of freedom. The performance is a raw, powerful and rhythmic journey through why equality is not true, and how being a woman in the 2020s is both survival and rebellion.

The work combines documentary material with physical theatre and musical texture. Authentic excerpts from women at different life stages resound on stage: a woman who refuses to be a man's servant, a mother exhausted by the pressure between career and family, and a woman who has found her own power and agency.

Don't Scratch an Angry Woman offers no easy answers. It screams, breathes and burns. It asks why misogyny flourishes, and whose permission does a woman still need? The work is a tribute to those who no longer apologize for their existence. The play explores what it means to live as a woman in this time, women's strength, passion, sensitivity and courage.
