Ruissalo Amping + Saaga

Ruissalo Amping and Saaga perform at Dubrovnik on 29.7.

Ruissalo Amping from Turku has evolved from shoegaze roots towards art rock. The band is undergoing a line-up change: the concert marks the farewell of drummer Tomi and introduces a new bassist - a fitting moment to play together before the autumn album release. The band released their debut album Tähtien suojatit Maan povella in November 2021, their second album Ruusupuutarha in February 2024, and their third album Rihmasto will be released in October 2026.

The evening opens with Saaga, a singer-songwriter from Tornio, whose music is called "itkelma" (a melancholic ballad). Her distinctive features are a whispering vocal style and melancholic lyrics. Saaga's second album Sydänkohtauksia was released in spring 2026.

Unreserved seating. Entry fee 4 € / person.
