Arppa and his band are among today's leading names in Finnish indie music, known for energetic and partly improvised performances. Arppa's captivating music is timeless and his lyrics are like moving pictures - insightful, sincere and carefully drawn moods that stretch from Ykspihlaja in Kokkola through Helsinki's nights to Laila Kinnunen's secret meeting place in July 1958.
In Arppa's band play musicians Ville-Veikko Airaniemi, Eero Seppä and Okko Saastamoinen.
The artist, who released his self-financed debut album "Laavalamppuja" in August 2020, has climbed rapidly from the promise of a rising artist straight into the ranks of the country's most current and beloved names.
Arppa released his second album "Kinovalon alla" in September 2021, whose first edition vinyl records sold out in three weeks. The third album "Valeria" (2023) and fourth "Muovipussi kummittelee" (2024) were released through Johanna Publishing. Arppa released his fifth album "Peppuni kanssa" self-financed in September 2025.
Nössö Nova, known for her memorable performances, presents Finnish pop music that draws inspiration from distant rhythms and combines them with relatable everyday moments. The songs move through landscapes of infatuation, satiation, longing and letting go - places where everything feels a little lighter for a moment. It is comforting.
