Ahti Lassila: Walking Bass

Ahti Lassila brings Walking Bass to KeMu in Jyväskylä on Saturday, 8 August at 15:30. The acoustic double bass and the museum form a unified whole, with Lassila moving through the exhibition spaces and developing musical ideas in different locations. Objects, space, and instrument create a new dimension for the museum visit. KeMu, the Central Finland Museum, sits on Härju hill and presents the region's history and culture through rotating exhibitions. This is one of two performances by Ahti Lassila in Finland this season.
