Jyväskylä Sinfonia: Brahms in Double

Jyväskylä Sinfonia performs two works by Brahms at Paviljonki on 24 September 2026 at 18:00: the Double Concerto for violin and cello, and Symphony No. 3. Conductor Lorenzo Passerini leads soloists violinist Leea Mattila and cellist Ilkka Kauppi. This is Passerini's only Finnish date on the current tour. Brahms composed these works at different stages of his career, and they embody his dialogue between classical form and romantic expression. The concert offers a chance to hear these significant works performed at a professional level.
