Earth's Gleam and Sea's Shimmer - An Evening of Arts at Annantalo

Earth's Gleam and Sea's Shimmer is an interactive stage work for children, where the audience follows the imaginative Sea's Shimmer into an underwater world. Beneath the surface you might find anything - a lobster or a shrieking banana, and there a fish choir sings.

The world of the work is built together with the audience through dance, live drawing, light and music. The work is a collaboration between dancer Miro Puranen and children's culture freelancer Noora Puranen, and it is produced in partnership with Annantalo.

Miro Puranen graduated as a dancer from Tampere Conservatory in 2018 and earned a bachelor's degree in dance art from the Theatre Academy in 2023. Noora Puranen is an early childhood education teacher and children's culture freelancer whose work combines play and various art forms.
