Marianas Rest is a melodic death metal band from Kotka with influences from doom and post metal music and a strong melancholic tone. The band released their fifth studio album The Bereaved on 16 January 2026 via record label Noble Demon. The album brings together the band's slower and faster sides. The band's earlier albums have drawn inspiration from real-life horrors - their three most recent full-length releases reached the official Finnish chart upon release. In 2021, Fata Morgana concluded a trilogy about isolation (Horror Vacui, 2016 and Ruins, 2019), and the subsequent album Auer dealt with conflict. The Bereaved confronts loss and the pain it leaves behind - what remained unsaid or undone.

Horizon Ignited is a melodic death metal band founded in 2017 in Kouvola. Their third album Tides was recorded with Juho Räihä (Swallow the Sun) at Inka Studio in Orimattila, and was mixed and mastered by Chris Clancy (Machine Head, Kataklysm) in the United Kingdom.

Skenesali is located right next to Myyrmäe station and is easily accessible by bus or train - from central Helsinki in just over a quarter hour with an AB ticket. The entrance is in a pedestrian passage next to restaurant Toppar. The event has no accessible entrance due to stairs, but it is possible to take an alternative route with an assistant. An accessible toilet is located on a different floor, and access can be arranged. Please contact us in advance so we can arrange access - it is also possible to notify us on site.
