Maunula Proge 8: Maa ilmasta, Featherfoot

Maunula Proge 8 features two Finnish rock bands: Maa ilmasta and Featherfoot. The event takes place in Metsäpurosali, 2nd floor.

Admission is free. Tickets will be available from Monday 17 August via a separate link and at the service desk of Maunula Library. A small number of tickets are reserved for door sales - these can be requested on site half an hour before the event starts.

Maa ilmasta plays Finnish instrumental rock. The band is led by Benjami Koskinen and has released two albums: ISO YÖ (2021, Luova Records) and Kaunis kesäkaupunki (2023, Luova Records). They are currently preparing their third album.

Line-up: Benjami Koskinen (guitar), Aapo Nieminen (guitar), Santeri Kettu (bass), Aapo Lankinen (drums).

Featherfoot draws inspiration from 1960s-70s rock and progressive rock. The five-piece band also incorporates elements of folk and world music. They released their debut album in October 2025. At Maunula Proge, you'll hear tracks from the debut album and new music from their second album, currently in progress.

Line-up: Ville Repo (guitar and vocals), Janne Kuosmanen (guitar and backing vocals), Jani Viljakainen (bass), Joni Rantanen (drums), Aleksi Raappana (percussion, keyboards and backing vocals).
