Bird-watching Walk for Rainbow Youth

IrisHelsinki organizes a bird-watching walk to Viik and the Keinumäki bird tower on Thursday, August 27. 🌈🐦🦆🦉

The walk is designed for 13-25-year-olds who identify as rainbow youth and their allies. Minors need a permission slip signed by their guardian. The group departs from IrisHelsinki (Konepajankuja 3) at 4:00 PM and the walk ends in Viik around 7:00 PM - afterwards you can return to the youth center with a youth leader or head home on your own.

The route covers approximately 3 kilometers at a leisurely pace. Bring weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable walking shoes, and a water bottle. You can bring your own binoculars or telescope, but youth leaders will also have loaner binoculars available. The City of Helsinki does not provide insurance for walk participants.
