Joep Beving: Liminal Tour

Dutch pianist and composer Joep Beving arrives in Helsinki for his Liminal Tour on 19 September 2026. Beving has accumulated tens of millions of streams worldwide and is one of the most listened-to contemporary pianists today.

His music is minimalist piano music where recurring themes and delicate melodies are central. The new album Liminal explores change, uncertainty, and humanity's relationship with the environment. Beving has cited influences including Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Philip Glass, Arvo Pärt, Erik Satie, and Radiohead.

His breakthrough album Prehension was released in 2017 and took Beving to sold-out halls around the world. His previous album Hermetism was released in 2022.
