Frustration Evenings

What if frustration wasn't just an unavoidable side effect of everyday life, but a shared force, a source of creativity and a catalyst for change?

Frustration Evenings is Teatterikone's participatory 1.5-hour event combining theatre, music and expertise. The evening is facilitated by Teatterikone's artistic director Annu Sankilampi. Actor Aaro Vuotila handles the music, composing and performing frustration songs on the spot based on topics suggested by the audience. The stage also features the Frustration Doctors: psychologist Tero Mäki and work supervisor Kirsti Vänskä, who deliver 3-5 minute information sessions with research-based insights.

The sessions explore the foundations of emotions, frustration as a resource, and irritation's role as a boundary-setter and engine of change - and whether frustration can serve as a tool for creativity and resilience.
