Acid Arab (FRA)

Acid Arab arrives at Ääniwalli in Helsinki on Friday, 6 November. The duo, formed by Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho, blends electronic club music with rhythms, melodies and vocal traditions from the Arab world, the Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean region - moving between house, techno, acid and trance. The set also features music from the album Resonance, released in June 2026.

The Parisian collective has collaborated with singers including Sofiane Said, Yasmine Hamdan, Wael Alkali, Ghizlane Melihi and Cem Yıldız. This year they have also composed the soundtrack for Hassan Hajj's exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris.

Accessibility: Ääniwalli is accessible via a ramp on the terrace. An accessible toilet is located near the restrooms in Room 1; on the Room 1+1 side, visitors can ask staff for assistance accessing the restrooms. Assistants enter free of charge.
