Akateeminen Laulu: Evening Glow

Seating is unreserved. Doors open one hour before the concert begins, and tickets are also available at the door. Children under 7 enter free.

The "Evening Glow" concert programme features works by British composers Benjamin Britten (1913-1976) and Percy Pitt (1869-1932), as well as Finnish choral music by Jean Sibelius and Leevi Madetoja. This year marks 50 years since Britten's death. Akateeminen Laulu performs Pitt's forgotten compositions. The concert is conducted by Dominik Vogt. It is part of the "Choral Music Season Concerts" series.

Schedule: doors open at 18.00, work presentation at 18.15, concert 19.00-21.00 (including intermission).

Accessibility: the concert hall is accessible by lift from the Ritarikatu entrance. An assistant enters free with the person being assisted on the same ticket. Please note that Ritarihuone does not fully meet current accessibility standards.
