1000 new beds for Muhos

Google announced in early September that it will build a data centre in Muhos, a project that will create significant demand for accommodation, housing and food services in the coming years. The municipality of Muhos aims to develop a total of 1000 new beds in the area, along with a food service network to support them.

The municipality is hosting an event on Thursday 8 October 2026 at 17:00-19:00 in the cafeteria of OSAO's Muhos unit (Building A), Kirkkotie 1, 91500 Muhos. Coffee will be served from 16:30.

The event is aimed at builders, investors, property owners, accommodation service providers, those interested in rental operations, and restaurant and catering sector operators. The goal is to map current capacity, identify new investment and business opportunities, and find actors ready to build, invest, provide accommodation or food services.

Registration is requested by Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 14:00 for catering reservations.
