Antti Sarpila (born 11 June 1964 in Pori) is a Finnish jazz clarinetist and saxophonist who has been one of the leading advocates of traditional jazz and swing in Finland for over four decades. He studied under American jazz legend Bob Wilber - whom he met at the Pori Jazz Festival in 1980 - and performed as a soloist at the Tribute to Benny Goodman concert at Carnegie Hall in 1988. His Antti Sarpila Swing Band, founded in 1982, has released over 30 albums on his own label, and he has guested with orchestras including the Count Basie Orchestra, the Dutch Metropole Orchestra and the Swedish Swing Society.
Sarpila returned to Spain's Costa del Sol for his annual spring residency with the Andalusian Swing Band, celebrating the band's 40th anniversary year.
