Garbage is a rock band formed in Madison, Wisconsin in 1993, fronted by Scottish singer Shirley Manson. Their sound blends alternative rock with electronic textures and grunge influences. Their 1995 debut album produced hits like "Stupid Girl" and "Only Happy When It Rains", making them one of the defining acts of 90s alternative rock.
