Mikko Pettinen

Mikko Pettinen is a Finnish trumpeter who has been a regular member of UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra's trumpet section since 1998. He leads the quartet Why Not, which blends lyrical contemporary jazz with electronic textures and free improvisation. The group released its second album, "Patient Patient", in autumn 2024.
