Aarne Tapani Kansa (9 March 1949 - 25 March 2025) was a Finnish singer born in Hamina who became one of the most beloved entertainers in the country. He signed his first record deal in 1967 and broke through the following year with a Finnish version of 'Delilah', going on to record over 600 songs across 37 studio albums - a catalogue spanning iskelmä, rock and roll, operetta, tango and classical lieder. He also worked extensively in theatre and television, and is credited with receiving Finland's first gold record for an LP.

Tapani Kansa died on 25 March 2025 in Kotka at the age of 76, following complications from a routine gallbladder operation.
