Willman Dance Company: USKO-FAITH

Willman Dance Company presents in August 2026 at Levyhalli on Suomenlinna a site-specific multimedia installation USKO-FAITH, consisting of two parts: a free glass art exhibition during the day and an immersive performance in the evening. The project is produced in collaboration with Suomenlinna Administration, Ballet Finland, the Ehrensvärd Society, and Glass Studio Hyt.

The theme of the installation is faith in all its contradictions. The performance approaches the subject as an event in the human mind - observing with curiosity, questioning critically, and acknowledging different forms of belief. The audience moves through the performance space alongside the performers from scene to scene. Physical participation is possible, but the choice remains with the viewer.

The USKO-FAITH glass art exhibition has been designed and created by glass artists Anna Schroderus and Esko Kurvinen, who work on Suomenlinna. The exhibition explores the same theme through the medium of glass art.
