Jyväskylä Sinfonia: Pictures at an Exhibition

Jyväskylä Sinfonia and Kuopio City Orchestra perform at Paviljonki on Friday, 11 September at 18:00. The programme features Musorgsky-Ravel's Pictures at an Exhibition, Korngold's Violin Concerto, and a contemporary work by Clyne. Conductor Karen Kamensek leads the ensemble, with violinist Isabelle van Keulen as soloist. Paviljonki is a congress and concert centre in central Jyväskylä, opened in 1999, with a main hall seating over 3,000. The orchestra performs several concerts in Jyväskylä throughout the autumn, and this September date is one of them.
