Sukhi Raghunath: Creative Paper Flower Workshops for Children and Young People - Ages 10-15, Born 2011-2016 — Annantalo, Helsinki

In this course, participants learn to make paper flowers through 12 different plant motifs - each session produces one detailed flower. Paper is approached as a contemporary art material rather than traditional craft, and the work supports creativity, concentration, and self-expression.

The practical sessions focus on process: participants learn techniques such as cutting, dyeing, shaping, layering, and assembling using high-quality paper and safe tools. The work develops fine motor skills, patience, and independent thinking, and encourages personal choices in colour, form, and composition.

All materials are included in the price, and participants build their own series of works over 12 weeks. The course concludes with a small exhibition, and all works can be taken home.

The teaching language is English, with Finnish support when needed. Visual guidance and inclusive teaching methods support different learners. The instructor is Sukhi Raghunath, a professional workshop facilitator with over 8 years of experience in artist organisations and currently studying social pedagogy. Price: 190 € (includes all 12 sessions and materials). The registration form link will be published soon - places are limited.
