Pekko Käppi & K:H:H:L is a four-piece band from Tampere that has toured the world with six albums. The group formed when Pekko Käppi's album Rammat jumalat was released in 2013, and their latest album Oli kerran ryytimaassa... came out in 2025.

Käppi's music blends folk expression, the raw power of blues, and psychedelically tinged rock.

About: Pekko Käppi

Tampere-born jouhikko master Pekko Käppi electrified a near-forgotten Finnish instrument and turned it into a vehicle for blues-soaked archaic folk - performing solo or with his four-piece band K:H:H:L on stages from WOMAD to Eurosonic.
