Tero Pajukallio: Colors

Tero Pajukallio is a freelance photographer based in Helsinki whose work encompasses journalistic photography and event coverage. Nature photography has become an important part of his practice during the 2020s - particularly images of wetlands, forests, and landscapes.

The exhibition features bog photographs selected for their rich color palette. "Walking on boardwalks across the wetlands, the full color spectrum isn't visible from ground level, but a drone reveals the entire range. The images have been processed for color saturation, so they should be viewed as photographic art rather than documentary photographs," Pajukallio explains.

The exhibition is on display in the Natural History Museum's café from 18.8 to 11.10.2026. The café follows the museum's opening hours and opens half an hour after the museum opens. Free admission.
