Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band founded in Gothenburg in 1996 by guitarist Michael Amott. Known for combining crushing riffs with melodic twin-guitar leads, the band built its global reputation through albums such as Wages of Sin (2001) and War Eternal (2014). Their twelfth studio album, Blood Dynasty, came out in March 2025, and in February 2026 the band entered a new chapter by introducing Lauren Hart - formerly of Once Human - as their fourth lead vocalist.
