Jussi Ulkuniemi is a Finnish photo and performance artist whose practice brings together contemporary dance and photography. He has developed a photographic method grounded in body awareness and somatic tools drawn from his dance training. His long-term project Textures of Queer Intimacy (2022-) documents queer bodies, nudity and non-normative relationships through film photography shot at close, intimate range.
