About

Orbit Culture is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Eksjö, formed in 2013. The quartet - vocalist and guitarist Niklas Karlsson, lead guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson, and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt - blends groove-heavy riffing with atmospheric, cinematic layers. Their 2020 album Nija broke them to a wider international audience, and the follow-up Descent (2023) cemented their reputation as one of the most compelling acts in modern Scandinavian metal. Signing with Century Media in January 2024 and releasing their fifth album Death Above Life in October 2025, the band has since headlined tours across Europe and North America.
