Sir Elwoodin hiljaiset värit is a Finnish rock band from the Helsinki suburb of Kannelmäki, active since 1988. Their sound - a blend of rock, jazz and blues that fans have long nicknamed 'keskiolutjazz' - broke through nationally with the 1993 single 'Viimeisellä rannalla', and the 1998 gold-certified compilation 'Varjoja, varkaita ja vanhoja valokuvia' sold over 30,000 copies. The current five-piece lineup of Juha Lehti, Jussi Virtanen, Junnu Saaresaho, Arttu Leskinen and Puppe Luomanmäki has remained stable for two decades, and the band released its most recent studio album 'Aamupäivän Errol Flynn' in September 2020.
The full band is booked to play their traditional July concert at Tavastia in Helsinki on 31 July 2025.
The band is scheduled to perform at Helsinki Festival (Helsingin juhlaviikot) at Huvila-teltta on 31 August 2025.
The acoustic Sir Elwood Duo (Juha Lehti and Junnu Saaresaho) toured in spring 2025, including a debut appearance at G Livelab Tampere.
The full band is announced to tour again in summer 2026, with a Sir Elwood Duo spring tour planned for late April 2026.
The band released their studio album 'Aamupäivän Errol Flynn' on 4 September 2020, their first in a decade, built over six years of recording.
