Moments in Time

Moments in Time is a series of 22 black-and-white photographs documenting the sunflower's life cycle from bud to fading. The various stages of decline emerge as subtle forms and shadows. The series was photographed over two autumns and one winter, and the works have been awarded in both domestic and international photography competitions.

Eighteen works are on display in the café at Meilahden Manor, where they can be experienced as individual images or as a unified whole. The series is by a Helsinki-based nature photographer who frequently shoots in nearby landscapes and the Porvoo archipelago.

The exhibition is open 1-31.7.2026. Free admission.
