Towards the Unknown - Exhibition Opening

Illustrator and author Pasi Pitkänen opens his exhibition "Towards the Unknown" at Vuotalo. During the opening, Pitkänen draws the famous serpent train from the Ouroboros series, and visitors can learn about ancient magical symbols - runes - in a workshop. Light refreshments and juice are served.

The exhibition is open 13.8.-26.9.2026. It has been produced by Salla Fornaro from Vuotalo's cultural services and Emilia Kämäräinen from Vuosaari Library in collaboration with Pasi Pitkänen.

Pitkänen is an illustrator, author, and graphic designer who graduated from Aalto University. He has previously worked as a character designer at Rovio Entertainment and currently works as a freelancer - part of the year in Japan.
