Mari Hillo is a Finnish visual artist working in printmaking and sculpture. Her works explore the relationship between people and their environment, focusing on traces left both deliberately and by accident. For her paintings she uses aluminium and recycled offset metal as a base, where the shiny surface sometimes causes brushwork to vanish from view.
