Miisa Mäkeläinen (b. 1992) is a Helsinki-based painter who graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts at Uniarts Helsinki in 2025. Her paintings sit between the recognisable and the open-ended - forms suggest something familiar without fixing a single meaning. Her work has entered collections including the Finnish State Art Collection.
